Add a News or Insight

Instruction to add a news article

Gutenberg is a traditional editor from WordPress official.

Create Content

Click 「Add Post」from 「Posts」Section of Left Panel

Add 「Title」of the News or Insight

Click 「Use Default Editor」form the Popup menu

Click the 「+」to expand the 「Block Menu」

Add content with the correct type

Blocks are often to use

1. Paragraph - regular news content

2. Heading - titles or important content

3. Quote - highlight the content from other source or people

4. List - create order list or unorder list of content

5. Image - insert an image into the content

6. Video - insert a video clip into the content

Please note: DO NOT NEED TO STYLE THE CONTENT ELEMENTS, THE BUILT-IN POST TEMPLATE WILL BE APPLIED TO THE NEWS OR INSIGHT POST AUTOMATICALLY AFTER PUBLISHED.

Complete Details for Template

Add Featured Image, it will be the SEO image of the article and the cover image of the article page

After complete the sections above, please click 「Publish」button from the top right hand corner.

Now you can view the new content you just created.

Quick Edits

The new content has been published, but we need to make some quick edits to apply the NBH layer and add it to the news page or insight page.

Mouseover on the title of the new post, click the「Quick Edit」

Select the correct content type from 「News」or「Insights」then「Update」the new changes.

After that, you need to 「Clear Cache」to make the changes to the live site immediately.

Then you can check the latest post will show up in the correct section with the right style on it.
